About me: I’m a 37 year old white male with 10 years English teaching/training experience. I've taught in Taiwan (3 years) and China (7 years). I am familiar with Asian cultures having travelled extensively throughout Asia.

 I’m professional, dedicated and reliable. I've taught children, teenagers, college/university students and adults (age range: 4 – 65) and I’m well liked and respected by my students. My preferred age group is young adults (16-22) and adults (23+).

I have a BA Communication Science degree, Business Management diploma and a CELTA teaching certificate. I’m a certified and practicing IELTS examiner and a training course designer. I taught for 5 years at one of China’s most prestigious universities – Xiamen University, in Xiamen city, Fujian province.

I also completed three 3 month IELTS test preparation contracts at Xiamen Airlines (China’s top airline), preparing pilots for the IELTS test, for further study abroad. 97/100 were able to achieve the required score of 6.

I am also an experienced writer/proofreader/editor.
