I dreamed of being a teacher since my first day of kindergarten! I fell in love with the magic of learning. I went to the University of North Texas where I majored in Early Childhood Education and minored in English as a Second Language.

After 10 years of teaching in elementary public schools, I am excited by the opportunity to become a private teacher! My favorite part of teaching has always been working with small groups of students so that I can specifically target what each of my students needs. Being a private teacher gives me the opportunity to be where I've always thrived, in meeting a child where they are, and getting them to their end of year goals.

On a personal side, I love gardening, reading, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have 5 kids of our own, ranging in ages from 19 years to 19 months old!
