“Every child deserves a champion”…Words I have lived by in my 30 year career as an Elementary, Middle School and High School public school educator. I retired in June 2025 and miss the connection and relationships that I carefully forged with each of my students. I have as much energy and love of working with young people as I had back when I was a brand new teacher. I have 2 high school aged children, making me feel forever young! I am a compassionate teacher who gets to know each student’s interests, goals and needs for improvement. I make sure I am respectful of “meeting students” where they are, academically, socially and behaviorally. My focus becomes adapting to their needs, and to work carefully to help them achieve their set goals. I am a nurturing, clever-witted person whose career passion is helping others to be the best that they can be! I look forward to the opportunity to support students outside of the public school environment with this same care and enthusiasm.
