I have had the wonderful privilege of teaching/ tutoring students in the area of reading comprehension, ELA, and ESL. I have taught students of all ages, and academic skill levels, both online and in regular classroom settings. I believe that teaching should be fun and memorable. I love the challenge of making reading animated, engaging, and exciting, as it makes students want to learn. Students know when a teacher is passionate about teaching, and that passion influences them to enjoy learning. I have found that positive reinforcement, encouragement, and affirmation really gives students the confidence that they need to step out and learn new skills and concepts. I am a life-long learner, and it is my desire to inspire that same passion and curiosity for learning in my students. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom. Additional Education Credentials: I have two Master's degrees through Liberty University in the areas of Counseling/ Human Services and an M.Ed. in Education from the American College of Education.
