I am a passionaate educator who over 25 years has worked with a wide variety of students from pre-school aged to adults. I successfully worked for a decade in the public system in Toronto at both the elementary and secondary levels and also was Curriculum Leader (Department Head) for English, ESL, Modern Languages (Spanish and French), and Drama in two secondary schools. I also have twelve years of international teaching experiences in China, the Middle East and Vietnam. My primary focus over my many exciting years of teaching has been English and English As A Second Language, but I have taught a variety of high school courses such as: Drama, Sociology, and History.
I am a fully certified teacher both in Ontario and in Nova Scotia. I am available for in person teaching from Mondays to Fridays during regular business hours and can offer tutoring services after 4PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. I look forward to working with a family to ensure the continued success of their child by developing a uniquely customized and personalized program of study, or by providing helpful tutoring services.
