This is my 31st year of teaching. I taught 1st grade for 22 years and the last 8 teaching K-5 ESOL students. My passion is reading and teaching students the foundations needed for reading. I use the same practices with my students learning English. My effectiveness as an educator is reflected in the strong growth and performance my students demonstrate. I have a Bachelors in Early Childhood, Masters in Reading, ESOL Endorsement, and a Specialists degree in Educational Technology. I bring the experience and expertise necessary to strengthen students’ reading proficiency, support English language learners, and effectively integrate technology to enhance instruction. If your child needs support with reading or English as a second language, I provide patient, effective instruction that helps students grow and succeed. I can provide proper certifications, and a formal resume if requested. I will provide online tutoring, but with elementary students, I strongly advise in person tutoring, and at least twice a week one hour sessions for growth and improvement.
