I'm an energetic, blithe individual who appreciates both sides of life: the active and the contemplative. Since my teenage years, I have always found myself to be at ease with children...and this has not changed! I have taught for 16 years, teaching in Texas, England, Poland, and California. I have been blessed to teach children in different grade levels from different backgrounds and cultures. During these 16 years, I have created, modified, and personalized curriculum and lessons to suit the needs of my students, while also staying active in the extra curricular roles as a coach in elementary basketball and volleyball.

I love teaching because as a teacher I can be a contributor to the foundations of a person's life - childhood. Currently, I am seeking a position that will enable me to return to being a private educator. Why? Home education frees the child from constraints indirectly caused by standard education, frees the teacher to truly look at the whole child, and offers to a family opportunities that are not possible in the average academic setting.
