Hello! My name is Dana Perez and I have been teaching in northeast Florida for 8 years. I received my BA in Elementary Education with a specialization in Math and Science from Rowan University in 2017. I have my teaching certification in both NJ and FL, with endorsements in both Special Education and teaching students of other languages (ESOL). I also have experience in tutoring and online teaching, and am available to teach all subjects, including Reading, Writing, and Phonics instruction. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade in the 8 years that I was in the classroom. I am looking for a new opportunity either in homeschooling or teaching remotely, and have high hopes of connecting with a family searching for someone to instill a love and passion for learning in their children daily. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my awesome husband! Together we love to travel and take a trip every summer to Key West where I got to teach for a year!
