Hi! I graduated from Baylor University and have spent the past 15 years in the field of education. I began my teaching career in Waco ISD where I taught kindergarten for a year. I then moved to Maryland and taught K and 1st grade in a private school. I then accepted a job with Montgomery County Public Schools where I taught kindergarten for 16 years. I am also a strong leader and spent three years as the Department Head of my grade level. I am also a highly-motivated individual and worked to obtain my Masters Equivalency plus 30 additional graduate hours from a partnership with my county’s school system and Trinity University. Additionally, I was also featured on WUSA Channel 9 news and as a part of Bethesda Magazines cover story highlighting my relationship building as a teacher with my students. I also started my own part time tutoring business five years ago.
