Hello! My name is Fernando Reyes and I have been a classroom teacher for years. I have, however, become frustrated and disillusioned with the public education system in this country and am looking for other opportunities. It was a hard choice but I left the classroom in December of 2023.

I hold a bachelor of science degree in psychology. I have a solid base in understanding our mental processes as humans and what encourages learning. I am also a fluent Spanish speaker (reading, writing, and speaking), having lived in Mexico for a crucial part of my life. I have always loved learning and am confident I can adapt to a new work environment quickly. I come with a lot of experience in problem solving, social dynamics, data analysis, and flexibility.

Relationships matter in education. Students need to feel safe and heard before the learning happens, and that is what I try to focus on. I am not here to talk AT them about academics. I am here to help them be the best version of themselves!
