Hi, my name is Avantika and I am from Washington state. At present I am in India.

I have taught Math as a graduate student and then as a homeschooling mom for whole 12 grades. I have tutored elementary, junior high and senior high grades and occasionally have helped with GRE prep.


I hold a Master’s degree in Math from India and another Master’s degree in Computer science from the US.

In our lessons, we would focus on building mathematical foundation in you. My students describe my lessons as tailored to students’ needs and holistic. I love teaching because of the aha moments that my students get after our session which are priceless. For me, to pass the joy and beauty of mathematics to young generation is rewarding.

My students say I am present, listen with purpose, have a zest for the topic, and describe concepts in detail.

They also say I care that students don’t just learn the formulas and steps, but learn the theory behind and I make mathematical theory simple and tangible.
