I am an experienced elementary and middle school teacher certified in Elementary through 8th grade. In my 8 years of teaching, I have successfully managed classrooms at public, private, and charter schools, as well as small group intervention for struggling students. I'm passionate about history and creative writing but teaching middle school math this year has inspired a new love of math and algebra. I'm skilled at assessing needs and differentiating lessons. I utilize a multidisciplinary approach to connecting with my students, and am a talented singer, musician, actor-director-writer, storyteller, and joy-bringer. I served as a minister in my previous career and am seeking a family that values integrating their Christian faith into their child's education.
