Hello!

I recently left my job as a tutor when I moved a bit too far away. However, I still want to teach! I love the kids I have worked with and want them to learn to love learning. To me, to become a life-long learner, one needs to be comfortable with the basics. Many times, due to differences in learning styles or difficulties, or just being afraid to ask questions in school (or not knowing the right questions to ask), students leave school feeling like they can't learn or even worse, can't read or do basic math well. This doesn't mean that your child can't be a great student, but that our system is not perfect and many times leaves students (and teachers) frustrated.

I would like to help! I teach reading, English (grammar, writing and literature) and math (1st grade through Algebra). I will assess your student to see where they are missing skills and then help them fill in the concepts that they missed or don't understand fully in order to help them move forward.
