I am a graduate of Psychology at Leeds Metropolitan University, with a keen interest in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am TEFL qualified, with an overall grade A. I enjoy travel, experiencing new places and activities, and I feel that life is a learning curve. I enjoy working with children and look forward to being part of the life building process that is involved with teaching and learning!

I recently spent 6 months as an Au-Pair in the French Alpes, which involved teaching the children (ages 1, 8 and 10) English. With the 10 year old I would plan an English lesson every day, involving different activities, games and assignments, to prepare him for the exams he had to get into the International school, of which he successfully secured a place.

I also spent a month volunteering in rural India, at different orphanages and mental health institutions providing basic English to children and adults of a range of ages and abilities.
