Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Avva! I am currently enrolled at Teachers College, Columbia University, and am obtaining an M.A in Early Childhood Education with Initial Teaching Certification in NYS. I am certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED by the American Red Cross.

About Me:

• I recently graduated from Syracuse University in May 2025 with a B.S in Business Management, Emerging Enterprise & Entrepreneurship, and a Minor in Spanish! I was licensed as a New York Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Agent/Broker during my undergraduate career and am now studying to obtain my Real Estate license as well!

• I served as the General Manager at Kumon Math & Reading Center, located in Upstate New York for 5 years, with 8 total years of work experience at the company as a Teaching Assistant, Early Learner Assistant, and General Manager.

• I love to travel! I have been fortunate enough to visit 21 countries in my 21 years of life thus far! My favorite experience was living abroad in Madrid, Spain for a semester.

• I am professionally proficient in Spanish and Persian! My goal is to become a polyglot! I am currently learning French and Arabic.

• I LOVE the winter season. I have been a skier my whole life and was an instructor throughout high school!
