I am a Literacy and Learning Specialist and a Special Education Instructor. Working with children for the past 25 years, I remain committed to students who don't always fit neatly into a box. My passion is in working with students K-6th specifically on becoming stronger readers, writers spellers and thinkers. I have worked mostly in school settings with all elementary grades. Currently, I am building up my private literacy practice to provide intervention for students who struggle with reading, writing and spelling. For reading and spelling instruction, I use the Orton-Gillingham based program called PAF, but also do plenty of work with children outside of OG. I currently have several wonderful students whom I work with multiple times per week in their homes. I'm also willing to work with students virtually through platforms like Zoom.
