I am a 25 year old teacher who is searching for a warm and welcoming family to work for. I have three years of classroom experience. I spent two years in kindergarten and this past year in firsts grade. I also hold a Masters of Ed degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
My professional goal is to foster the inquisitive nature and curiosity of children through student-centered learning while providing a supportive and inclusive environment. I view children as their whole selves and meet their needs where they are while setting realistic goals. I use differentiated instruction to ensure all needs are met. I am a passionate educator who believes that students should be in the driver's seat of their learning. I believe in the power of the word “yet” and my students’ great potential. I strive to create a space for children to see and celebrate what they can do and guide them as they work to develop new skills. I believe that curiosity should be valued childhood should be respected. Overall, I am a teacher who is passionate about bringing learning to life.
