Hi,
My name is Abby and I’m from Nashville, TN. Teaching is more than a career for me—it is a calling God placed on my heart. As a Special Education teacher with a background in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education, I have had the privilege of serving students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. I strive to see each child as God sees them: uniquely created, deeply valued, and full of potential.
I believe that every student deserves a safe, structured, and loving environment where they feel seen and supported. My approach to teaching is rooted in patience, grace, and strong relationships. I rely heavily on consistency, clear expectations, and individualized instruction, while also providing emotional support that helps students build confidence and independence.
My faith guides the way I teach, communicate, and serve others. I am passionate about advocating for students, collaborating with families and team members, and leading with compassion—especially on the challenging days. I see my role not only as an educator, but as someone who encourages, uplifts, and models kindness and perseverance.
I am grateful for the opportunity to pour into students and be a light in the classroom, trusting God to guide my steps as I continue growing as an educator and serving the school community He has placed me in.
