As an elementary teacher, with over six years of experience in education and a Masters Degree in Educational Literacy & Undergraduate Degree in Health Science and Elementary Inclusive Education, I am searching for a homeschooling position which allows me the ability to do what I love most - create, inclusive, engaging, individualized learning! As an educator, I have taught in multiple school districts across three states, including overseas teaching experience in Northern Ireland. I am very well known by colleagues for organizational efficacy, smooth operation of daily tasks and strong communication abilities. As well as, proficient in managing calendars, scheduling, coordinating meetings and handling correspondence. At all of my various districts, I have operated as a “team lead” on grade level team in which I coordinate and run grade level meetings, creating lesson plans, organizing emails and various communications with administration and families. I have been named “Rookie Teacher of the Year” by two different school districts and have received numerous “highly effective” ratings by multiple school districts.
When I am not teaching, you can find me at home with my family, which includes my husband, son and two chocolate labs! My pride and joy is being a mom and I have loved teaching my son a passion for learning! I would love to bring this same passion to another family!
