I’m an elementary teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I have two years experience in first grade, but have worked with students who have pre-k skills to second grade skills. I am ESL certified and passed my science of teaching reading (STR) exam. Studying for the STR opened a whole new world of teaching reading/writing and I have seen the impact it has on student reading and writing progress.
