Hi! My name is Laura White. I have been in education for 14 years. I taught secondary English (5th-12th) for ten years. While my certification is in English, I can teach and/or tutor math through Algebra I effectively! I have learned in the last few years that I actually love teaching math, too! I have provided homeschool services for students in elementary-middle school. I have tutored in person and online. I have provided Reading/ELA tutoring for students K-Post-Secondary. I have provided math tutoring for students ranging from 3rd grade through Algebra II. I have also provided test prep tutoring services for several years: ACT, SAT, ASVAB, GRE, and general test prep.
I am passionate about changing the lives of my students! I make learning fun and engaging. Research and experience shows students of all ages learn more when they're enjoying it and are invested and involved!
