I am an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who has always enjoyed Maths during my time at school. This is because I enjoy problem solving tasks, and the challenge they bring in attempting to solve them. My ability at Maths has provided the foundation for my interest in accounting as it is a core requirement. I have considerable experience in using Microsoft Office programs which I believe are basic tools that will aid in pursuing my career in accounting.

My interest in business and finance strengthened after I studied the Business Management qualification. After studying BM, I decided to take a step further and study for the Chartered Accountants, (CA) as it is a higher level qualification. I believe that studying a degree in accounting and finance, or business will help me to progress with my career. This is because the two subjects combine well with one another and on many occasions, I have found that knowledge of one subject has helped to understand the other.
I have previous experience in Auditing and accounting environment where my position was as an Auditor This gave me the experience of working at an accountancy firm, while showing me the skills and knowledge required for a future career. My duties included basic administration such as filing client records, creating invoices on the system and the inputting data of client's records.
As part of my continued interest in the financial markets, I enjoy reading The Economist and the Financial Times when I am able to, as it provides an insight into business organisations, their financial transactions and the state of the economy.
