I've had the opportunity to work in the education field since the age of nineteen as an elementary paraprofessional. Since then I realized that I would pursue my career in education. I have a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Teaching from Early Childhood- 6th grade from the University of Houston-Downtown. I have worked 10 years working in public and private Christian schools and I have noticed how many children stay behind for the amount of students that there is in a classroom and wishing that somehow I could do much more for every single child. There are so many goals to be achieved and we can accomplish them with hard work and dedication. My favorite thing to do when I teach is doing arts and crafts along with what we are learning, its always great to have a little fun along the journey of teaching.
