A published writer based in Houston, Texas, I am passionate about sparking a love of reading and writing in my students.

For the past five years, I worked one-on-one and in groups with students of all ages and abilities. My work included engaging pre-K and kindergarten students in foundational reading and writing skills; running creative writing, essay writing, and literary analysis camps; developing and publishing novels with students; revising academic work with students; and preparing students for the English sections of the ISEE, SAT, and ACT exams. Many of my students stayed with me throughout multiple years; many came in disliking English class and left with a newfound joy for reading and writing. Additionally, I have four years of experience working with children with special needs.
