A singer from a very young age and a natural teacher, Kaarin Cecilia Phelps combines her
knowledge of vocal pedagogy with her own performance experience, to create a dynamic
atmosphere in her lessons. From absolute beginners to advanced vocalists, Ms. Phelps has a unique talent of diagnosing vocal problems and working to find their solutions. Specialising in the
instruction of classical and musical-theatre singing, Kaarin has a wide knowledge of repertoire,
anatomy, and the slight kinesthetic coordination required to become an informed and empowered
vocalist. Her lessons are never the same week-to-week, as they are tailored to what the student
would like to work on technically, and her energy is always high as she shares a mutual desire to
hear and see improvement in her students.

*Though her students are typically above the age of 10, she is open to and capable of teaching younger ages.
