I have been a teacher my entire adult life beginning as an elementary school teacher, as a school district literacy trainer, and continuing through Houston Community College. All throughout my career I have loved teaching English as a second language because I have seen lives change when people from other countries learn English. Every student finds the confidence to succeed at whatever job they have or want. Introducing and explaining one of the hardest languages in the world, and in turn learning about other countries and customs has been one of the true highlight of my life.
