Tracy Barbour is a professional photographer, graphic designer, and writer with over 10 years experience in creative arts and creative arts management. In 2007, Tracy toured with Revenent Media as part of the Evanescence Open Door Tour, where she quickly rose to being a trusted photographer for Evanescence, Finger Eleven, and Chevelle. In addition to that tour, Tracy was a much sought after photographer for the growing Omaha, Nebraska music scene. Spending 3 years documenting Omaha and it's recording artists from 2005-2008. In 2008, Tracy moved to Texas, where she added graphic design to her repetoire of skills. In 2009, Ms. Barbour was nominated as an emerging photographer for BluDomain's Photographer of the Year. She has appeared in numerous articles, publications; both in print and online including Vibe, Black Bars, Cigar Press, The Omaha Daily Record, and an interview in 2011 for Inside Analogue Photo Radio ( s itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/inside-analog-photo-radio/id291806626?mt=2, No 52 as Tracy Tesmer.) A former Chair of the Houston Community College Digital Communication Advisory Board, Tracy has helped shape the future education and careers of graduates from their digital arts and photography program. Now residing in Houston, TX, Tracy spends her time running her photography studio full time where she specializes in lifestyle, portrait, boudoir and wedding photography. She also has produced numerous personal projects, in particular "Grief and Grace" which provides documentary and transformative sessions to those in recovery from major medical trauma and the terminally ill. Tracy divides her creative time between her clients, her personal projects, and mentoring other creatives.
