My academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mild/Moderate Needs, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. I have 7 years of experience in the general classroom setting and 5 years as an Intervention Specialist. After taking a parental leave of absence, I am excited to return to work and the world of education in the 2026-2027 school year.
As an educator, I have been involved in coaching positions through Power of the Pen and We Run This City. I have taken on strong leadership roles, such as being a Resident Educator Mentor and a Special Education Liaison. I have worked hard to be a positive collaborator with my co-workers. I am dedicated to being an educator who not only holds high academic standards but is also a compassionate, caring role model for young adults. I look forward to a work environment where I am able to use my leadership skills and education to make a difference.
