Christina Bernier is a licensed educational professional who has enthusiastically & compassionately served children and families for over 20 years. She LOVES everything education!
Christina's work experience includes Pre K-3 teaching in both Christian and public environments, K-8 electives/club instructor for health/nutrition, science, literacy-based music & movement, art masterpiece, and even making cosmetics and skincare for middle school.
Moreover, Christina specializes in literacy and was a curriculum designer/ writer for nationally recognized curricula for PreK-3rd grade (general education and special needs/speech and language). As a curriculum designer, she also developed a supplemental science curriculum for grades K-5, emphasizing non-controversial standards-based expectations with easy hands-on experiments for homeschool or remote environments. She is currently authoring and designing her own early childhood (Prek-1st grade) literacy program with links to other priority content areas.
In addition to teaching, Christina has extensive coaching experience. Coaching experience includes instructional coaching for teachers, parent coaching, behavioral coaching, chronic pain coaching, and health/wellness coaching with a focus on holistic functional approaches.
As a licensed school administrator, she served in Christian and charter schools. As an administrator, she developed additional clinical behavioral specializations in ADHD, high-functioning Autism, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and Organizational Behavioral Management (OBM).
Her educational background includes a master's from Loyola, a Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) graduate certificate from Northern Arizona University. She is currently entering the dissertation phase of her doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. Additionally, her educational background includes Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst, ADHD clinical certification, Montessori certification, and has been trained as a reading specialist.
