Hello, I am certified in TN as an Administrator and ELA teacher; I would love to be your students’ personal teacher; I have 17 years experience teaching ELA and coaching other teachers. I am excited to share my extensive gifts and talents with a family who values education as much as I do. I also have 10 years experience as a business owner and sold my business to the franchise company; my organizational skills and abilities are wide ranged. I am seeking an opportunity to continue my love for learning outside of the school walls.
My hobbies include tennis, golf, swimming, kayaking, hiking, gardening, theater, arts, and music. I am a lover of learning, so your student(s) will always wear an inquisitive hat. We will venture outside of the things we already know and solve over-arching questions to concepts we don’t know yet. Both of my sons graduated high school early because I began teaching them and preparing them from an early age.
I have experience in public and private schools; I believe it is important to educate the whole child, so I like activities outside of textbooks and computers for learning, although textbooks and computers certainly have their places. A wide range of learning activities is the best.
