Hello, families! My name is Marissa and I am a Lead Program Educator and Nature Specialist at an environmental education camp near me. I have lots of experience with tutoring and teaching. It started my freshman year in college and I fell in love with it! I tutored through my school - students of all ages - and I became a Supplemental Instructor as well, so I taught my own classes. I also tutored privately, so I have experience with in-home and in-school tutoring. I would love to work with a family where they're most comfortable, and be able to teach their students different subjects however it makes sense to them. Not all students are the same! We all take in information differently, and I like to think I have a skill-set that allows me to reach different students no matter how best they learn.
