Hello! I am an elementary teacher with experiences in grades K-5. The majority of my 15 year career has been spent teaching in public school grades 3-5. I am passionate about finding fun and innovative ways for students to learn. I believe in teaching the whole child and that relationships come before anything else that happens in the classroom.
I have degrees from Dalton State College (bachelors in elementary education), University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (masters in elementary education), and Lincoln Memorial University (specialist degree in curriculum and instruction.) I am a Georgia certified educator with endorsements in gifted learners, ESOL, and academic coaching.
Outside of my career I love to read, spend time with my family, craft and cook. I have also just started learning to garden but I am most definitely a beginner.
