My name is Erika. I am bilingual. I speak and write Spanish. I attended California State University Northridge. There I earned a BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in Spanish. I have a Special Education Teaching Credential, and an MA in Educational Therapy. I found Educational Therapy by chance and loved the idea of working to meet students’ emotional, social, ethical, and academic needs. By providing a supportive and inclusive environment that offers students a sense of safety and respect. I strive to give the students the tools, skills, and knowledge to help them thrive in their academic and personal lives. In addition, I believe the key to success is to consistently collaborate with other teachers and allied professionals to create an inclusive and engaging, educational plan.
