I recently retired after 30 years of teaching. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a Licensure in Gifted and Talent. I love teaching, writing and snuggling with my Morkipoo.
It was a hard choice to retire at 53. My faith is strong and I felt God was leading me to spend more time with my family and volunteer in my community. School has started and I miss the kids so much!! I have always wanted time to write. I recently had my first article published in the Saline Courier. I want to write about all the positivity that is happening around our state.
I am currently doing what I love, writing , pet sitting and volunteering with an After School Program in my hometown of White Hall. I would love to continue to teach students and help with Home
School Programs and Virtual Tutoring. I want to help bridge the gap of the learning losses over the last five years. I feel I can do this better through tutoring and small groups than I
could in a class of 28 students. I am also qualified to teach gifted and talented students who may not get the enrichment they needed in a larger class setting. Please be on the look out for an instructional video soon. I found this site by mistake and did not want to miss out on any opportunities for myself and students who may be a match!
