Hello all. My name is Raton Remikie, a life-long learner and educator. I am originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and now reside in the NYC area. I am a former 10th and 11th grade intensive reading teacher at Apopka High School in Apopka, Fl. In my capacity as an intensive reading teacher I prepared students for state testing as well as the ACT and SAT reading portion of the tests. I also have experience teaching and tutoring 6th-8th grade ELA as well as K-8 math. As far as educational experience, I have a B.S degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida and a M.Ed with a concentration in high education leadership.
