Greetings and salutations. I use my whole education, my whole work experience, and my whole life to inform my teaching, tutoring, and mentoring. I have worked as a public school teacher (3 years), a private in-home tutor(3 years), an online teacher of English to kids in China (2 years), a full time nanny (17 years), a newborn care specialist, an inclusive homeschool group founder, organizer, Unschool curriculum adviser, volunteer and teen group facilitator, and college application transcript consultant (23 years). I’m the mother of four grown children and three growing grandchildren. From preparing for their birth through launch to adult endeavors, I am learned, seasoned, competent, engaged, and resourceful in managing each age and stage, in supporting and encouraging development and joy, through tried and true best practices and curiosity based creative ideas that are child and scholar centered, for positive and confident growth. I practice kindness and understanding, and value the integrity of every learners path.
