I retired from 34 years of public school teaching in 2024 to pursue different avenues of teaching. My degree is in early childhood to third grade, but I have taught every grade level. I also have 20 years of experience in special education and have worked with gifted and talented and non English speaking students. I started teaching because I love working with children. There’s nothing like the light in their eyes when they finally grasp a difficult concept.
I have certifications in pre-k, Kindergarten-3rd grade, Math 4-8, all level Sped and all level ESL/ELL. I also took graduate classes in ESL/ELL.
I am excited to start this new avenue of teaching and can't wait to meet and work with my new students!
