Hello! My name is Madison Grocia, and I’m a passionate and dedicated educator with a background in Special Education and individualized instruction. I currently teach first grade in a specialized Autism Program within Prince George’s County Public Schools and am pursuing my Master’s degree in Special Education at Bowie State University.
With over three years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and current classroom experience as a special educator, I have developed a deep understanding of how to meet students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, structure, and creativity, integrating hands-on, multi-sensory learning experiences that help children build confidence and foster a love of learning.
As a private teacher, I bring individualized lesson planning, strong communication with families, and a genuine belief that every child can thrive with the right support. My goal is to make learning both effective and joyful, whether that means breaking down complex skills, designing visual supports, or celebrating every small victory along the way.
