My journey as a once-struggling reader fuels my lifelong mission to ensure that all learners—both students and educators—have the right tools at the right time. I strive to be the educator I needed as a child, creating learning environments where every individual can thrive. Drawing from 19 years of K-2 classroom teaching experience and 8 years as a 4K-5 Literacy Specialist/Interventionist, I bring a comprehensive lens that encompasses the full spectrum of instruction—from foundational, universal teaching to targeted, intensive interventions. As evolving research around the Science of Reading reshape what and how we teach, I am dedicated to building the capacity of educators to implement evidence-based practices confidently and effectively, and guide students to the next stage in their literacy journey. I leverage data with compassion, blending structured literacy approaches with a deep understanding of individual needs to drive meaningful, lasting outcomes for students and the professionals who support them.
