I have a degree in Elementary Education and used to teach fifth grade. I left teaching in 2011 to start a family. I have since had FIVE sons. When my youngest started preschool in 2022, I started teaching again. I taught in a general ed classroom for one year, and for the last two years I have been the art teacher at the preschool.
I love my job, but I especially love my work. Working with children is so inspiring and fulfilling. Fostering a love of learning, while nurturing, engaging, and supporting students, is the goal.
Three of my own children have been diagnosed with ASD. I have a special place in my heart for students with special needs and disabilities. I understand the challenges, and joy that these students bring.
I am available now for evening tutoring. Starting in May, I will be available for summer tutoring, and when the school year begins in August, I will be available for a full time position.
I cant wait to learn, and create with your student!
