With over 20 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education, I’m passionate about creating learning experiences that spark curiosity, joy, and creativity in every child. I believe every child is a unique thinker, maker, and problem-solver, and my goal is to give them the tools and confidence to explore, experiment, and grow. Learning should feel alive, relevant, and fun, blending hands-on experiences, the arts, and technology in ways that connect to real life.
Drawing on my years of experience, my teaching is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasizing student-led exploration and play-centered discovery. In my classroom, children feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and follow their curiosity building not only knowledge, but resilience, confidence, and a love of learning.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve spent the past three years leading our Parent Involvement Program, organizing school events, and managing communications that bring families into the heart of the learning experience. I love connecting communities and helping children and families feel seen, supported, and inspired.
At the end of the day, I get the most joy from watching children realize their potential, celebrate breakthroughs, and discover that learning is a lifelong adventure. Helping them do that is why I love what I do.
