Hello. My name is Yvonne Young. I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator for the past 30 years. My passion for teaching began 30 years ago at the Education Social Services Magnet High School in Dallas, Texas. I have a CDA in Early Childhood Education, and a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. I’m currently a certified State of Texas Director. I’m also certified in First Aid & CPR. I have 30 hours of annual training approved by the Texas Department of Regulatory Services. My passion and purpose is to make learning fun for children. I truly believe it’s imperative to give children a strong, solid educational foundation that will propel them into a bright future allowing them to become the leaders we need. My career as an educator has allowed me to foster great relationships with communities and families from all walks of life. My most recent position as a licensed preschool /pre-k home school teacher has been extremely rewarding. Many of my students have tested above state standards and have graduated high school with honors. This is why I believe that a strong, solid educational foundation is vitally necessary. I absolutely love what I do! I enjoy that moment of interaction with children when they first learn something new or discover their own capabilities.
