I love working with children, but don't like state testing and the many administrative requirements that take me away from teaching in the public school setting. I currently teach Child Development to high schoolers, so I know the science and theories regarding the best way to teach children through immersive experiences vs. paper and pencil work. I understand that the larger the variety of experiences a child has, the more neuron connections they will have in their brain, building the capacity they have to learn.

I adore children's books and reading and tie every lesson I teach to a book. I even do that with my high schoolers because I want them to be parents that read to their children some day. I look forward to hearing from you and working with your child/children.
