I am enthusiastic to submit my candidacy for employment as a highly motivated well prepared PreK through 6th Grade Elementary School Teacher. I am a goal-oriented individual, qualified, and successful candidate. I care about student achievement, embrace all these bold ideas that educationally move students ahead, and I desire to close the achievement gap. My enthusiasm for teaching all students to learn and acquisition from the first day brings excitement which allows all students the learning space to educationally grow. My role as an elementary teacher is to understand the educational concerns, needs, and interests of all my students. I believe the key for me in being an effective elementary school teacher is identifying, creating, and designing engaging schoolwork for all my students. The main goal of my teaching philosophy helps promote a safe environment to learn that empowers all my students in ways that is advantageous, productive, and inspiring to develop all students intellectually, so they can construct knowledge in an organized way. My hands on approach learning style prepares students to grow as confident learners. I continue to excel in this learning environment because education is a challenging and rewarding career.
I am a veteran, so my military background gives me additional experience and offers an advantage in better understanding how to positively deal with a diverse population in a good educational climate. The military taught me discipline and teamwork; on the other hand, my Dallas Baptist University (DBU) taught me interpersonal communication, management, social responsibility, and servant leadership. I believe in having a good working relationship, working well with stakeholders, and enjoy getting the work at hand completed. I have excellent interpersonal communications and employability skills. I am confident that my educational background has prepared me to teach. I look forward discussing my 15+ years educator/teacher qualifications further if you have any questions.
