My education journey has been non-traditional but very fulfilling. It began with me homeschooling my own children, with their very different strengths and challenges; providing consultation and guidance for other homeschool parents; establishing a homeschool co-op; founding and directing a college-style school (classes two days/week); teaching in that school; and teaching in a full-time private Christian school. My teaching experience encompasses elementary through high school.
While I love to engage all subjects in the elementary levels, I have experience teaching the humanities (World History, U.S. History, Geography, Language Arts) in middle and high school levels. I teach because I love to engage with students in the process of learning!
