With an English degree and CELTA qualification under my belt I want to dip my feet into the teaching pool by teaching people in as many formats as I can. I have nothing but confidence in my skills as a teacher and find it an exciting and enjoyable profession. I've been doing plenty of cover work and one to one teaching at the British Council accredited school located near Piccadilly train station called Excel college. I also worked for two weeks at UKLC summer school so my experience covers both adult learners and children between the age of 11 and 17. Learning is about the student so my first session would be an informal chat with the student about what they feel needs improving and the best ways to address them. Everybody learns in a different way and I believe a personalized and student centered way of learning works best.
