Hello! I am Miss Alisa. I am a former public school teacher who now tutors online! I have a BS in Human Development Family Studies with an emphasis on working with children and families, a BA in Music and a MA in Early Childhood Special Education. In addition I have a Colorado teaching license for early childhood education and early childhood special education specialist, and a speech language pathologist assistant certification.

I spent many years in a variety of general education and special education settings. I love to help struggling readers grow in their skills and confidence. I also help with writing and elementary level math.

I love to incorporate songs, movement and breathing strategies into my tutoring sessions.
