Hi! I am Megan Heier and I am a certified teacher in science, math, and computer science with a Masters in Instruction & Curriculum. I currently teach robotics to middle school students, which is as fun as it sounds!

I believe that every student is capable of learning, even if they can't do it in a traditional classroom. I had a non-traditional education myself, as I struggled with anxiety and staying in class throughout middle and high school. In fact, I skipped more school than I attended in high school! I became a teacher and a tutor to help students have a better experience than I did, and I use all of my experiences to guide my practice.

I am an expert in helping students that struggle to learn in a traditional classroom setting achieve their goals. I prefer to teach through experimentation and doing, rather than listening and parroting. I also love having fun with students! The best learning experiences come with a little bit of wonder and fun.
