My Texas Teaching Certification is in Bilingual Education Early Childhood-6, English Language Learner Early Childhood-6, and Generalist Early Childhood-4. I have 11 years of experience teaching in Galena Park ISD, Alief ISD and Katy ISD.
I went to the Neuhaus Educational Center where I took classes in understanding and teaching reading strategies designed for all style learners. I studied Math Their Way: Center for Innovation in Education, which engaged the students to manipulate objects with hands on experiences in learning math concepts. I designed differentiated small group instruction meeting the needs of the students determined by pre-assessments according to concepts in reading, math and writing.
