Hi! I’m an educator with over ten years of experience creating engaging, hands-on, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young learners. I love helping students build confidence, curiosity, and critical-thinking skills, whether we’re exploring a story, solving a math problem, or collaborating on a project.

I began my career as a classroom teacher, spending seven years honing my skills in differentiated instruction, small-group teaching, and creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences. I then served as a HISD Teacher Specialist, gaining experience in curriculum design, teacher support, and instructional coaching. In addition, I have worked as a private tutor, providing highly individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning needs. Through one-on-one teaching, I’ve honed my adaptability and personalized teaching skills—helping students discover their strengths, take ownership of their learning, and tackle academic challenges with enthusiasm. I strive to make each learning experience engaging, hands-on, and full of energy!

I’m passionate about making every student feel seen and valued, and I work hard to build strong relationships with students and their families to support growth and learning. Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling and going on nature hikes, and I love bringing that same curiosity, wonder, and sense of adventure into my teaching each day.
